Pamzy is an award-winning dance instructor and performer from Cameroon, known for her dynamic style and versatility. With over 10 years of experience, she has toured several African countries including Ghana, Nigeria, Congo, Ivory Coast, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon and Togo where she performed and judged high-profile events, concerts, and competitions. Pamzy’s passion for dance began at age two and by five, she won her first dance competition in Limbe, Cameroon.

In 2015, Pamzy transitioned professionally, founding Kamer Great Dancers, an all-female group that quickly gained recognition, performing with A-list Cameroonian artists and winning Best Dance Crew at the 2018 Ngea Awards in the USA. She relocated to Ghana in 2020 to deepen her Afrobeat knowledge, later moving to Finland in 2022, where she has since performed on major stages, including opening for artists Ruger and Ayra Starr.

Pamzy’s dance expertise spans Afrobeat, Ndombolo, Amapiano, Makossa, Bikutsi, Mbole, Azonto and she is known for her Afrofusion style, blending traditional and contemporary African dance forms. She teaches Afro dance in schools and dance studios across Helsinki continuing her commitment to celebrating and sharing African culture through dance.

AFRO (Klo 13-14.30)

Afro dance combines traditional and modern African dance styles, featuring dynamic movements, expressive storytelling and powerful beats.

AFROFUSION (Klo 15-16.30)

Afrofusion is blending two or more African dance styles. There’s a lot of similarities that exist within the cultures and dance styles in Africa, and Afrofusion was designed to connect and highlight these similarities.

Pamzy is very patient with her students and always ensures they get it right. Her style of teaching is kinda intense but in a relaxed way. The energy and positive vibe is always top notch and therapeutic. “Great dancers are not great because of their technique, they are great because of their passion”.
